Laurel is one of two restaurants owned by the husband and wife team of executive chef Russ Berger and executive pastry chef Sherry Berger. The couples other restaurant is also located in the South End.

Their other restaurant is Firefly an American bistro. Firefly is located at 130 Dartmouth Street next to Copley Place. Firefly is a great place for Saturday & Sunday Brunch as well as lunch and Dinner.
